Morning Snorkel to Molokini or Coral Gardens

This is the classic morning snorkel tour, to Molokini, that made us famous and continues to make Maui visitors thrilled year-after-year! While other boats attempt to pack multiple snorkel sites into one trip, the Four Winds II chooses stay at Molokini the longest. This provides you lots of time to snorkel. Additionally it gives you more time to explore much more of the crater, hop back on the boat for some rest, relaxation and refreshment, and then dive back into the crystal-clear water for some more thrilling snorkel discoveries.

One snorkeling destination ensures that you get more out of your snorkeling experience by staying at one site longer, rather than having to spend time mooring and outfitting passengers at two different snorkeling locations. Plus it makes the trip much more relaxing in the sheltered waters of the Crater! This is how we provide you with the best snorkeling on Maui!

Additionally, the Four Winds II is the only vessel that has a Glass Bottom Viewing Room that you actually can sit in and provides a 180 degree view, both in front and below you. This is a great option for those that cannot snorkel or swim or grandparents that are unable to join in snorkeling, but still want to be part of the fun. You feel like you are sitting right on top of the water! No other boat to Molokini can compare to the Four Winds II, and no other trip offers you the fun-packed experience of our classic Morning snorkel tour!

From the young to the “young-at-heart”, this trip has something for everyone and is guaranteed to be loaded with fun! We pride ourselves with making sure each and every passenger is treated like family and our expert crew is famous for their hospitality, service and sharing the aloha spirit. This is why our morning snorkel is so popular with families and fun-lovers of all ages.

The Four Winds II morning Molokini snorkel tour serves up a tropical breakfast and hot barbeque lunch and features an open bar too. All snorkel gear and instruction is provided and we additionally offer you to experience SNUBA as an optional add-on to your underwater experience. From soaking up the sun on our spacious decks to sliding down our water-slide, to the best underwater sights on Maui, this classic morning snorkel is absolutely loaded with amenities, features and a great time for all!

Turtle Cleaning-Station Stop:

After snorkeling at Molokini Crater, on the way back to Maalaea Harbor, we make a stop at the Sugar Beach Turtle Cleaning-Station. This is a really cool spot where the turtles congregate to let specialized “cleaning fish” nibble and remove the algae off their shells and bodies. Because turtles are air-breathing creatures, they come up to the surface frequently to breathe. We almost always see Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles on the surface and at this location we get a chance to see them up close and personal! Additionally your vantage point from up on the deck, looking down into the water at the turtles, makes for fantastic photo opportunities!
