Dry Dock Alert Four Winds Maui
From Sunday, October 25th through Sunday, November 15th, the Four Winds II will be unavailable for tours while she is in for her routine Dry Dock on Oahu.
Every two years, we take her out of the water to do a complete maintenance and make improvements. Should you wish to take a snorkel trip during these dates, we recommend that you check-out our other boat, THE MAUI MAGIC.
If you don’t have children under 5, or need a lot of shade, the Maui Magic is the ideal vessel for your Maui snorkel adventures! Fast and nimble, the Magic actually visits two snorkel sites (Molokini and another that is chosen daily by the Captain). The second snorkel site is where you can actually see and snorkel with turtles. Additionally, this trip also features a daily dolphin search where we look for Spinner and Bottle Nose dolphins in the wild!
It is great that you have chosen to book with Four Winds. We look forward to welcoming you onboard soon!
Directions To The Harbor
Havin' Fun with Four Winds... waterslide fun for everyone!
From Lahaina, Kaanapali or Kapalua
Take HWY 30 south. You will travel along the coast for a while and eventually come to Maui's only tunnel. About three (3) miles after the tunnel, there will be green highway sign reading "U.S. Coast Guard Station". Turn right at the sign and drive down towards the harbor. Stay to your right hand side and drive onto the jetty. The Four Winds II is in Slip #80, located at the very end just before the Ferry Terminal Building.
From Kihei, Wailea or Makena
Take South Kihei Road north to HWY 30. South Kihei Road will end at a "T" intersection at a traffic light. Turn left onto North Kihei Road at the "T" intersection. Continue on this road until you come to another "T" intersection (and traffic light) and turn left (towards Maalaea and Lahaina). Turn left at traffic light by Maui Ocean Center (Kapoli Street) where you will see Carl's Jr. and a gas station located on the corner. Then take Kapoli Street down to the end and turn right (at the stop sign) onto Maalaea Harbor Road. Drive through the Harbor, past Buzz's Restaurant and bear left onto the jetty. The Four Winds II Slip #80 is located at the very end, next to the Ferry Terminal.
Take HWY 380 west to HWY 30. At the 2nd stoplight (where HWY 380 ends) turn left onto HWY 30. Follow the signs to Maalaea. Turn left at stoplight by Maui Ocean Center (Kapoli Street) where you will see Carl's Jr. and a gas station located on the corner. Then take Kapoli Street down to the end and turn right again (at the stop sign) onto Maalaea Harbor Road. Drive through the Harbor, past Buzz's Restaurant and bear left onto the jetty. Four Winds II Slip #80 is located at the very end, next to the Ferry Terminal.
Using Your GPS
Since our Maalaea slip is on the jetty portion of the harbor, well-off the main highway, a proper GPS way-point is not easily accessible to most devices. Therefore, the best way to use your GPS device to navigate to our location is by pointing it to the address below (which will get you to the entrance of the harbor). Or you can also scan the QR code (in the map) with your smartphone for our harbor location.
